We wanted to have a picnic but the weather was rainy. Did that stop us? Of course not, we just picnicked indoors. Et voila:

lychee lunch
Mmmmm Greg took me to this restaurant around the corner called lychee. Sidenote: can you find lychee fruit at regular grocery stores in California? I sure hope so. Anyways, we order a 0,5 L of chianti and started with shrimp spring rolls with a warm plum sauce. Deeeelicious.

dagmar
The first time Greg came to Bremen last summer he subleased a room in a house owned by a lady named Dagmar. She is a large German lady whose English is shabby but not bad. She rents out rooms to international students. Greg is renting a different room from her this time and lucky him, they share a wall. haaaaaaaaaaa.
Dags, enjoying the sun + drinking a beer. Large and in charge.
mensa "food", take 2.
more mensa "food"
we thought those heart shaped things were chicken nuggets.
oh no, they were little nuggets of processed "cheese".
oh dear god.

the view from Madison's window
Now that the trees are in full bloom that view from Madison's window is even better!!!!! Ah I would give an arm and leg to live in this apartment for the rest of my life.

YSL @ Petit Palais
This afternoon Madison and I went to the Yves Saint Laurent Retrospective art expo at the Petit Palais. We had to be real sneaky about our photographs, which made it really fun. Or at least we thought so. We were both blown away by YSL's creations.
a video showing how quickly and fluidly he sketches the clothing:
