Palais Champs-Elysees
Palais Champs-Elysees is the equivalent to our White House.
Oh hey, Sarkozy.
Oh interesting, you sly French man you. Read here about his relationships. Fun fact = he used to be the mayor of my commune. Fun Fact #2 = Carla Bruni, his current wife, is an Italian born International pop star. Here they are vacationing:

Hotel de Ville - tennis
Everyone here is really pumped up for the French Open aka Roland Garros. Hotel de Ville even had some tennis courts set up and a sand court for tennis volleyball??? I've never seen anything like this before, it looks really difficult and the rallies never last for more than a couple of minutes:

up in the arc
I hadn't been up in the Arc de Triomphe yet and I thought it would be a swell idea to see la Nature Capitale on the Champs Elysees from a high viewpoint, as well as the sunset over La Defense and the twinkling of the Eiffel Tower at dusk!
some video views for you:
Now for the sunset over La Defense:
Underneath the Arc de Triomphe is the tomb of an unknown solider from WWI. An eternal flame is lit every night:
