Annecy

We still had some hours to kill before returning our rental car so we ventured around the town of Annecy. This little town is considered the "Venice" of the Alps. Although it's really touristy it has a charm about it. It's faded buildings, it's canals, it's sleepytown feel.

This is Lac d'Annecy, Laetitia's cabin is off in the distance.

This little baby child was lost.

down by the lake...

Our short stay at the cabin has come to an end. I will miss this view from this chair:
Beautiful.
We had a few hours to kill so we headed down to the lake.
where we found this lovely swan.

and these cool platforms, slides and diving boards that the townspeople use on the hot summer days.
