MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY!!!!!!
Also, whatever the weather widget says doesn't actually correspond to the weather outside, and the weather outside changes more than the widget predictions. IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE. I like all types of weather, but I like it when it's consistently cold, consistently sunny, consistently raining, consistenting breezy. Not all in one day, or all in 10 minutes. No thanks.

esplanade de la defense

Today was so incredibly hot and I was walking (melting) back to my place after giving Laetitia her birthday gift I was intriguied to find people swimming in the water of Esplanade de la Defense.
For reals?!?!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!
I heavily debated with myself whether to take the plunge. But then I read the fine print (under the man's butt) plus the water is probably toilet water. yuck.

But nonetheless, it was a joyful sight.
Children and adults alike!
(scope the Eiffel in the background :)
I miss my bike.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

Parc des Buttes Chaumont is the most magical place I have ever been. It's a dreamy park, I'll show you why:
beautiful trees:
beckoning steps:
wonderful hills:
lush greenery:
pregnant men:
bountiful benches:
enticing trails:
low basins:
a gurgling waterfall:
open spaces:
high views:
an escape from the city:
a belvedere!

with 360 views of the park:
and views of Sacre Coeur in the distance:

so good.
suspension bridges:

this man liking the colour orange a whole bunch:
the green slopes:
the cliffs:
such an epic grotto:
so majestic and fairytalesque:
Best. Park. Ever.

parc de la villette

Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie is located within Parc de la Villette. I've never been inside the building but the structure is quite cool.

the backside of the building:
a geode!!!!!!!! and a mini rainbow!

awwwwwesome.
Frenchies for miles! I mean, kilometers!
super sweet structures
this chairs are permanently fixed to the ground but they can swivel! I sat on one for about a millisecond and nearly fried my buttcheeks off.
Parc de la Villette:
the Canal de l'Ourcq runs through it:
so many Frenchies enjoying the warmth:
