This morning we went to a cafe so Greg could get his coffee and we found this little pup. Greg loves all animals and all animals love him. If he is the room, animals will somehow flock to him in order to be played with or petted. Greg (like my mom) also enforces a strict "NO VIDEOING ME" rule, which I sort of follow. You will notice I am filming the little dog mostly but there is a quick flick of the wrist where I try to sneakingly get him in the shot.
Today we did all the site seeing there is to see in Cesky Krumlov. This place is small. I mean really small. Let me take you on a tour. Here is one section of the Vltava river, along each side of the riverbank is lined with outdoor bear gardens and restaurant porches:
Here is the view from the church:
Okay, stop. This place is a joke. Upon careful inspection you start to realize that everything is fabricated. See that "stone"? See those "bricks"? See that "masonry"? See that "wood"? See those "windows"? Everything is faux painted. It is a little disturbing. It feels like you are living in Disneyland. Everything is a prop. Nothing is real. 100% tourism and 100% fake.
We decided to go up in that clocktower, here is the view:
When I look at this photo I think, aw how quaint and little and cute. And it's somewhat true, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. It's sort of off the map, so transporting here is a little difficult, the food isn't spectacular and there is NO GROCERY STORE in this town only a supermaket, there isn't much to do either. I know that we were there in the off season but even in the summer months I don't really think I would recommend it.
