jardin d'acclimatation

On Wednesdays the children have half days of school, meaning once the bell rings for lunch they have entire afternoon off. Today Diane and her two friends came over for lunch and afterwards we went to Jardin d'Acclimatation near our house. It is a large park with amusement rides, carnie-type games, animals, play structures, green spaces, etc. We played there for almost 3 hours...

It "snowed" this afternoon, the little snow flakes were as big as grains of salt. It was so cold. It was -7°C (19°F). I have never been so cold in my life. I lost all feeling in my toes and was pretty convinced I had frostbite. My face was completely numb and I couldn't quite move my fingers.
Here are the girls on the dragon ride, I don't know how they did it with the cold air rushing against their cheeks...
