roller + puces

This afternoon I met Madison at her apartment so we could take the metro together to Les Puces (details to follow). Upon leaving we were swarmed wtih a gazillion rollerbladers! It is part of Pari Roller - an association that organizes rollerblading outings every friday night, sunday afternoon, and to promote/encourage rollerblading as a fun activity, sport and mode of transportation. It reminds me a lot of Bike Happening in San Luis Obispo.
There was this police man on roller blades who almost crashed into Madison and I:
Then we realized that is was totally faking, the faker!
This is his job, his real life.
What a life - a police man rollerblading on a Sunday afternoon.
After watching the rollerbladers we took 2 metros to the best and most famous flea market of Paris. It is called Les Puces (fleas) Saint-Ouen. If I was loaded and if I had an appartment that needing furnishing I would buy everything here. It is the best flea market in the universe. Here is a little taste of my findings:
Amour is right, nothing but love for these objects:

Madison and I were obsessed and vow to come as often as possible to drool and imagine our lives with these trinkets in them. I plan on taking my SLR camera next time so be prepared for some amazing photos of unique items.
