There was an art installation I wanted to check out pretty badly at the Grand Palais. It's called Personnes, which in French means 'everyone' (when used affirmatively) and 'no one' (when used in the negative). It's a clever play on words because as you can see there are heaps of clothes, that presumably must belong to many people, yet these people don't have an identity so they are no one.
Le Grand Palais is a huge structure and the ceiling is constructed of beautiful greenish beams and glass.

So many clothes. I wonder where they came from. I wonder who wore them. I wonder what kind of People there were...
wait does the crane just pick up clothes from the big pile and then drop them back on?
